Wisconsin Illinois SAS Users Conferences are administered by not-for-profit, registered 501(c)(3), unpaid-volunteer-staffed Software User Services, Inc., which organizes and hosts SAS user events in and for the North Central USA, open to attendees from the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, and anywhere else. Our email blasts promote widely, not just in Illinois and Wisconsin, because we occasionally draw attendees from Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Missouri.
This sub regional volunteer effort has been in existence since 1986, typically draws 150 to 200 attendees, and works closely with SAS Institute. Conferences are promoted using our own email database, as well as by SAS Institute, who reaches thousands of users in our service area. Speakers come from not only the service area, but also from elsewhere in the USA, Canada, and overseas. The emphasis is on SAS user education and networking. The conference is one-day, with three concurrent sections (one dedicated to SAS Analytics), and is followed by an optional networking social.
